Throughout her career as an actor and a director, Michelle’s goal has been to deepen the art of character interpretation. She is inspired to create scenarios that reflect our human experience and allow audiences to connect to the story.
Whether working with new or experienced actors, Michelle believes that with good direction, it is possible to guide an actor to discover their full potential while staying authentic in front of the camera.

About Michelle

Director, producer, and actress, Michelle brings a strong background in both theatre and film. With years of experience on stage, she now focuses primarily on cinematic creation through filmmaking, directing, and ongoing professional development.

Film Work

Michelle directed and produced the documentary Sea to Land, funded through the Telus Storyhive program. The film was screened at several festivals across Canada in 2025 and 2026 and is currently available on the YouTube Storyhive platform.
In 2026, she continued expanding her filmmaking practice by directing two short films: a drama and a comedy.

Education & Training

Committed to refining her craft, Michelle completed creative editing training at L’INIS in 2024 and later earned a certificate in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy’s Florence campus.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Theatre Production from Central Washington University and a BFA in Acting.

Theatre & Artistic Direction

Michelle is the co-founder and former Artistic Director of Théâtre Cabale in Victoria, where she spent nearly a decade producing and developing French-language and bilingual theatre productions, contributing to the vitality of the arts in her community in British Columbia.

Artistic Involvement

Based in British Columbia, Vancouver Island, Michelle collaborated with various artistic organizations and institutions, including Théâtre La Seizième, Théâtre Kaléidoscope, and several Francophone organizations such as the Société francophone de Victoria and Radio-Canada.
She is also actively involved in educational settings as a stage director, teacher, and drama facilitator, working with diverse audiences and age groups.

Additional Experience

Michelle has further expanded her expertise through training in screenwriting and film production at Concordia University, as well as studies in set decoration, production assistance, and safety training at North Island College. In 2023, she also completed an intensive 45-hour training program at Martini Film Studios.
In addition, she contributes to Victoria’s Francophone radio community as a writer and creator for the series Qu’est-ce qu’on lit.
A bilingual actress, Michelle is a member of ACFC West Union, where she works in set decoration and production assistance.

Implication Comedienne

Michelle’s journey has led to her involvement in many aspects of the performing arts.
She trained as an actor at the University of Quebec in 1990 and then was a full time professional actor performing in French and English for several years.
She then transitioned into directing and teaching the craft of dramatic arts to adults and children in BC and Ontario.
Michelle was involved with social projects bringing theatre experiences to prisons.
In recent year she has developed a passion for doing narration work for audio books through the Academy Syllabes in Montreal.

Voice Over

Michelle conceived and directed an audio visual project "Les 9 vies d’Alix" in collaboration with French Society and CBC. She coached, trained and guided emerging actors to interpret their stories. Michelle narrated the script of this project.
Michelle‘s passion for voice work let her to create the series "Qu'est ce qu'on lit" at Radio Francophone in Victoria. She also created a podcast for the series "Reflets d’Elle" for Reseau Femmes in BC.
